- Is
your first check test approaching?
- Are
you fully prepared?
- Have
you failed a check test?
In
order to achieve a good result, a logical and structured
approach is taken. We conduct a one-hour assessment
of your instructional ability on a normal driving lesson
which is followed immediately by feedback on your strengths
and weaknesses.
If
you require any further training this will concentrate
on one or more of the following:
-
Role-play session(s) to improve your instructing skills
and techniques.
-
Discussions on core competencies (fault assessment),
the check test form and what the Supervising Examiner
(SE) is looking for from you.
-
What sort of pupil to choose and how to structure
the Check test lesson.
-
Role-play check tests.
Regardless of whether you have a check test coming up
soon or have recently failed a check test, training
will enable you to prepare yourself better, increase
your confidence and the knowledge of how best to present
yourself to the SE.
We
also offer training for the following test:
Cardington
Special Test - The Cardington Special Test is specifically
for Approved Driving Instructors (ADI), who as part
of their Continued Professional Development (CPD) want
to demonstrate that they have a high standard of driving
competence, which they maintain.
